There are many places to sit and admire the completely uninterrupted sea views, be it the balcony just meters from the sand, the living space, the kitchen or the master bedroom. The blue hues of Porthmeor are mighty impressive regardless of time of year, when the sea is settled you can almost guarantee fantastic light blues, or when the Atlantic awakens you’ll have the best spot in the house to watch it unleash.

Design lovers will be smitten with some of the clever features of 6 Barnaloft which has been entirely reworked back to its original shell.  A clever curved wall, hidden storage that reminds you of nautical designs yet the lines are kept clean. The three bathrooms are all individually styled, the rooms have carefully chosen fabrics and the parquet flooring that runs through the property is a particular highlight for us.

Functionally, 6 Barnaloft is designed perfectly for four people. The ground floor is all one room for open plan living with a wet room adjacent for washing off the salt and sand. Head upstairs and you’ll find a large ensuite master bedroom with a superking bed and then an ensuite twin room that can also be made as a superking if desired.

Parking is off site on Beach Road in an allocated space, a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Unloading outside remains possible.

The beach is seconds away, if you lean over the balcony you can almost touch the sand, the official way to the beach is through an entrance no more than 15-20 meters away.
