Nestled in a secluded hamlet; Higher Trowan Cottage offers a relaxed and peaceful stay in a beautiful single-storey granite home, benefiting from designer influenced interior décor and furnishings, not forgetting rural and coastal views from both home and garden.

We truly believe Trowan to be a very special location. The fishing town of St Ives is a 30 minute walk along the coastal path, full of independent shops, an array of restaurants and cafes and of course a vibrant arts scene. Yet Trowan is peaceful, with dark skies for star gazing, surrounded by fields and moorland. The best of both worlds…

Higher Trowan has traditional features such as exposed wooden beams, granite walls and Cornish stone walling surrounding the property. Combined with a light and spacious living area, well equipped kitchen and a luxury design led bathroom, you’ll feel at home as soon as you enter.

For the days you want to cosy up, light the woodburner and enjoy the sociable open-plan living kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washer-dryer and fridge and the dining table seats four.

The bedrooms meet the same high standard; a generous king-size master bedroom and an airy twin welcome you to slumber ready for another day rejuvenating by the coast. Both rooms will have fresh, crisp linen provided for your stay along with plentiful storage.

The bathroom has a stunning contemporary design with a decadent roll-top bath, large shower enclosure with rainforest shower head and heated towel rail.

Outside you have an enclosed grass garden to relax in and soak up the sea views, it’s the perfect spot to watch the sun go down. There’s also patio furniture, and a BBQ.

Off-road parking for two vehicles is included in your stay in a communal car park 100 meters from the property, it is possible to unload closer to the property.

For larger parties – we also have Lower Trowan Cottage and Quick’s Cottage are available for friends to book too.
