The ground floor has a cosy living room, with deep comfortable sofas, a gas fire and a TV. The kitchen is well equipped and the handy utility adjacent utility room means you can keep the laundry out of the way. The dining room is a great space when you wish to have a sit down meal together.
Outside, you’ll be able to enjoy the sun as it hits the patio. There is plenty of seating to enjoy an alfresco drink.
From your doorstep there are some superb walks with Porthkidney Beach a mile away and the RSBP Nature Reserve with the possibility of sighting some rare birds. There is also a range of places to eat such as The Old Forge, Birdies Bistro, The Badger Inn, The Watermill and The Quayside.
It would be hard to resist taking a trip to St Ives, by train in the busier months is often the easiest option. This quaint fishing town is full of things to do for all ages and tastes. Creatives and culture lovers can immerse themselves in many a gallery, Tate St Ives, the St Ives School of Painting or The Leach Pottery. Outdoor lovers can enjoy the surf, kayaking, SUP’ing, fishing trips and much more. Those who have a penchant for independent shops and boutiques will love St Ives as well.
Further afield you can find superb stretches of sand in Hayle (a 5-10 minute drive), Carbis Bay (5-10 minutes by car/train) and also on the South coast which is a mere 15 minute drive to enjoy places like Penzance and St Michael’s Mount.
